REFLECTIVE CLASSICISM
Type: Residential
Location: Los Angeles, CA
Completed at UCLA
Reflective Classicism is a conceptual downtown loft in Los Angeles exploring the intersection of classical design principles and contemporary living. The project reinterprets traditional forms, proportions, and architectural details within a modern urban setting, creating a dialogue between old and new. Subtle reflective elements and polished accents introduce moments of light and contrast, adding a contemporary edge to the otherwise timeless palette. Through a considered mix of sculptural furnishings, rich materials, and layered textures, the design balances classical elegance with a more relaxed, contemporary sensibility. The result is a space that feels sophisticated yet inviting, where historic influences are thoughtfully reimagined for modern life.
