Domaine du Soleil is a conceptual boutique hotel in Aix-en-Provence, France, inspired by the region’s rich architectural heritage and effortless approach to hospitality. Envisioned as an intimate retreat, the property features thoughtfully connected spaces, including a lobby, restaurant, boutique, guest accommodations, and outdoor mineral baths. A central focus of the project was space planning and programming, carefully considering guest circulation, restaurant seating capacity, and operational requirements. The design draws from the textures and tones of Provence, pairing natural stone, warm woods, and sun-washed finishes with contemporary detailing. Balancing traditional Provençal character with modern sensibilities, the concept celebrates the interplay of old and new while creating a cohesive and inviting hospitality experience.
